Lauren Ruhe

Meet Lauren, a nature enthusiast from the Pacific Northwest. Where she's happiest with a backpack on her shoulders and a camera in hand. Growing up in a family that enjoyed hiking on the weekends together, she developed a deep love for outdoor adventures and exploring new trails. Combining her passion for adventure with her love for photography, Lauren found her niche as a PNW based elopement photographer, capturing outdoorsy like-minded couples in the breathtaking local landscapes. Some of her favorite areas to backpack and explore are within the Olympic National Park and Alpine Lakes Wilderness. For 2024, she has a summer packed full of bucket list trips, one of them being thru-hiking the JMT. When she's not on the trails, you can find Lauren making pottery, mushroom foraging, SUPing, or enjoying a beer with her husband. She also works a couple days a week on a local organic vegetable farm, regenerative sustainable agriculture and the local food system is another passion of hers.
