ERIC JOHNSON

Growing up on a cattle ranch was instrumental in formulating my love of the outdoors and from very early on I found myself in the mountains often which was the perfect springboard for my chosen occupation as a wildland firefighter. Recently retired, I have been able fully commit to exploring my passions of backcountry skiing in the winter, 3 season RVing or backpacking with my wife Rebecca and Mountain Ultra Trailrunning year round. I have decided in 2020 to put my running aspirations on hold while Rebecca and I attempt our first thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail.
